The company Loma Albar was founded by two experienced engineers passionate about developing models and simulators in the energy sector.
After extensive research on the microstructure of financial markets, they decided to create Loma Albar in 2023 to put their theories into practice.

Raphael Vazeux
Raphael holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering from INSA Strasbourg and is a software development expert with over 15 years of experience.
He built extensive expertise at EDF by developing outstanding software tools, still in use today, for predictive maintenance of hydroelectric power plants and for optimizing the organization of nuclear power plants.
This work established his reputation for structuring and leading cutting-edge research projects.
As an expert in R&D and advanced algorithms, Raphael combines today financial mathematics and physics to anticipate market imbalances, demonstrating a strong command of complex stochastic models and jump processes.
Raphael is fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Italian.

Isaac Vazeux
Isaac holds a master's degree in engineering with a focus on energy systems, robotics, and computer science from ESME Sudria, and he is certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt by Centrale Paris.
With over 16 years of experience, Isaac is a recognised expert in industrial energy transition and energy markets.
He began his career as a quant, contributed to the creation of a trading room, and performed several due diligence on deals related to energy markets.
He has provided strategic guidance to major industrial companies, investment funds, and policymakers across more than 27 countries.
Isaac is fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Italian.
